Insurance and Fees

Self-Pay: Our fees range from $150-190 per session, depending upon the clinician and the service. Sliding scale and payment plan options are also available, based on client need and therapist availability.

Insurance: We are in-network for BCBS PPO.

Out of network: We will gladly submit claims on your behalf for out of network plans. We will also attempt to secure partial payment from your insurance carrier and help you navigate the billing process.

Recommended questions for your insurance company before your 1st session:

Is Neera Mehta an in-network provider for my plan? Ask this even if you are seeing a different provider in the practice.
Does my plan cover the following procedure (CPT) codes: 90791 (three initial interviews), 90834 (45-minute outpatient therapy), 90837 (55-60 minute outpatient therapy), and if relevant, 90847 (outpatient couples/family therapy)?
Do I have a deductible to meet before my copay or coinsurance kicks in? If so, how much is remaining on my deductible?
What is the copay/coinsurance per session after I meet my deductible?
Are there any session limits?
Is preauthorization is required?
If relevant: what are my out-of-network behavioral health benefits?

Do I have a separate deductible for out of network providers?
What is the allowable/contracted rate for the above procedure codes?
